It is with pleasure that we announce our next event "Biotechnosurgery 2026" - II International Congress which will see us as Presidents as Founding Members of the "Italian Society of Biotechnosurgery".

The event will take place on 24-27 June 2026 in Melizzano, a city dear to us, in the province of Benevento, the epicenter of an area that has art and culture in its roots, a few kilometers from other realities such as Cerreto Sannita, Sant'Agata dei Goti, San Lorenzello, Telese Terme and a natural scenery that has nothing to envy to that of other Italian regions. Melizzano, which has been one of the preferred venues for our scientific events for years, is a witness to events with high participation (>500 accesses/day) of experts in the field and young surgeons of national and international level.

The III Congress of the Italian Society of Biotechnosurgery will focus on all the main problems related to the use of the most innovative technologies in the world, technologies in the biomedical, oncological and above all surgical fields: The macro-areas of application will be:

1. Surgical training and simulation platforms from cadaver labs to augmented
2. The role of Surgery in biological amplification from spheroids to cancer avatars, from applications in rare diseases to Oncological Surgery.
3. Tissue bioengineering from smart matrices as bioscaffolds to neotissues in reconstructive and prosthetic surgery.
4. The critical issues of Surgery, from the crisis of traditional training models to the management of complications of surgical patients, from the crisis of vocation to the medico- legal implications.
5. The role of artificial intelligence in the interpretation of clinical data and imaging in the management of surgical-oncological pathologies
